Well, since I won’t be doing too many book reviews for a time, I might as well go back to writing in a more personal level.
This is something I have been wanting to do for a while now and since I am planning on writing on a more personal level, I figured I’d give this a go… the 30 Day Blog Challenge.
Here goes nothing!
1. What do I write?
Just about anything, but I mostly enjoy writing about life lessons, adventures, and books.
2. Why do I write?
I write to share my perspective and experiences. Sometimes I write because it can be therapeutic. Other times I enjoy writing because it helps me appreciate the things that I might have forgotten to be grateful for.
When I am having a tough day and I feel like life isn’t getting any better, writing about my victories or miracles I personally experienced helps put my present circumstances into perspective; my mood changes, I start to feel grateful once again, and remind myself that I will get through whatever I’m going through like I did my previous trials.
3. Where do I write?
I am a strange one.
I can never write in just one place. I’ll go to a coffee shop and start writing there, then I start fidgeting so I leave and maybe go home where I’ll continue writing… only to start fidgeting again and walk to the local library…
But I believe I get inspired in more ways than one by changing locations frequently.
I’m learning to appreciate and embrace my own personal style of writing.
When I first started blogging, I wanted people to like what I wrote but quickly found myself feeling a bit frustrated. I’ve since learned that while I can most definitely improve my writing, I certainly don’t have to be like every other writer; I can be inspired by their work but I don’t have to feel less than because they have a larger audience.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Day one complete. 29 more to go!
